Is MedSenseJR FDA-cleared?
Each integrated device operates under its own FDA clearance — Kinsa thermometer, Innovo pulse oximeter, Omron blood-pressure monitor, AliveCor KardiaMobile ECG. MedSenseJR captures and displays their readings; it does not alter or interpret them. Clinical decisions remain with licensed staff.
Which medical-records systems can MedSenseJR connect to?
Readings route via standard medical-records APIs on the Connected and Telehealth configurations. Specific EMR/EHR integrations depend on your provider's API access — we'll confirm compatibility during your walkthrough.
How long does setup take?
Most facilities are up and running within an afternoon. The cart arrives pre-paired with its devices; on-site time covers Wi-Fi setup, optional EMR connection, and a brief training session for the care team.
What about HIPAA and patient data?
We work with your facility's compliance team to align MedSenseJR with your existing data-handling protocols. Patient data can be stored locally on the cart, routed to your medical-records system, or both — your call. We don't claim HIPAA compliance as a standalone product; compliance lives at the deployment level, and we provide the documentation your security review needs.
Can MedSenseJR work without internet?
Yes. The Base configuration stores readings locally and prints on demand. Connectivity is required only for EMR routing and telehealth video on the Connected and Telehealth tiers.
